Karaoke Cab Ride

Um, yes. Who has ever heard of such a thing? But such a thing truly exists!! Michelle and Kyle invited us, along with their sweet friend Lana, to join them for such a ride. And boy was it crazy fun :) If only I didn't experience severe motion sickness...

20 Months

He's so big! We were trying a "Russian Prince" outfit on to wear to his cousin Betsy's Princess Birthday, but he wasn't too sure about the whole costume idea... Ha!

He is loving pizza, tea (all varieties), ducks, fire trucks and Sunday School these days.

Sad Sick Day

First stomach bug is SO SAD. Jett just kept looking at us like "Why is this happening?" He fell asleep in my lap, which has not happened since he was an infant.

Christmas Day at Grammy's

Jett got some more practice at opening gifts at Grammy's. Still not sure that he gets it, though!

He convinced Aunt Carrie that he needed to watch cows on her phone, too... Sneaky.

So blessed and happy to get to spend our holiday with family.

Christmas at Home

We started our morning with a warm fire, dum dums, chocolate croissants and mostly empty stockings. Santa's really falling down on the job these days...

When we finally got to gift opening, Jett ran back to his room and played with his old toys :) Guess he still has some figuring out to do about Christmas!

Personally, this is my favorite Christmas present.

It's Christmastime...

Honey and Tatu had a little break from the sick people in their house and joined us for dinner! We've been missing them a bunch, so it was fun to have them over :)

Christmassy Saturday

OOOOOO! I love Saturdays. Especially Saturdays in December. Our first one this year did not disappoint :)

Aunt Jen stayed with Jett on Friday night so we could have a date with Melanie and Andy, then a little coffee date together after we put Jett to sleep. Then we had a slumber party and stayed up past midnight to watch a Christmas movie... Saturday morning pancakes, a trip to the park, lunch at Fuzzy's. Really. Happy. Day.

He made friends with a pretty lady at Fuzzy's and she took him for a tour of the kitchen. He thought he was hot stuff!!

Then we got to celebrate Tatum's first birthday with the Griffin girls!! She got to have her first chocolate pancake and boy was she digging it!!

19 months

Our boy is getting so big. He's a cutie: jumping off things, counting, chasing the dogs. His current favorite things are tractors, trucks, fish, bugs and buffalo. So funny!!

Cami's Baby Shower

My niece, Cami, is expecting a little boy in early February, so since she's in Indiana now, we wanted to have a shower for her here while she was in town for Thanksgiving. We had a fun time celebrating with her and oo-ing and ah-ing over all those cute baby things. Can't wait to meet baby Jackson :)

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving celebrations began with a little picture taking with the Smith kids and Jett on Thanksgiving Eve. We had fun trying to get them all to smile (naturally) all at the same time. Hopefully the photographer got some good ones :)

Jett was yelling "NOOOOO" at Betsy and pushing her because he wanted her tutu. So charming!

We celebrated God's goodness immediately following our photo session at the Hauns' house and everything was wonderful.

On Thanksgiving Day, Jett and I went to my Mom's and Casey went to the Cowboys game. Love the family time, the good food and that my hubby got to have an adventure! We also got to see out-of-town family, the Stokeses and the Zakaryans. Thank you, Jesus. We are TRULY grateful for all the gifts you give us - most especially the people.

Kansas City with Ashley O

Oh, how much fun it is to be with our sweet Ashley. We miss her and she keeps swearing she's not moving back to Dallas, so we keep trying to work in visits when we can! This one was a last minute weekend jaunt and we had such a lovely time.

We ate yummy burgers on the Plaza...

We chilled together at the house and looked at the beautiful golden tree in the back yard. We even got to worship together!

We got to drive around town, watching Jett flirt with Ash :)

We got to visit Loose Park, which was BEAUTIFUL and warm (until a cold front blew in while we were trying to fly Ashley's housemate, Tom's, $1 kite)
