Christmas at Home

It's so special that Jett's first Christmas was a white one. That's pretty cool in Dallas. Poor guy! He still has a ear infection, so he wasn't feeling his best, but he had a great time, especially when we played in all that cold white stuff outside!

So idyllic and cozy...

The view out our front window :)

Jett was into the croissant for breakfast on Christmas morning tradition. He liked 'em. And he liked chillin' with this "Dada."

Big snow angel.

Little snow angel.

Sweet baby angel of the world! Merry Christmas to me :)

Wheeeeeeeeeee!

The whole family - almost got this one, but Bix jumped down right before the camera clicked...

Not the best shot - it's hard to tell that there are two labs (they sort of melt into each other) but we're all in it... MERRY CHRISTMAS, from Casey, Cheryl, Jett, Salomon, Jade, Bixby, Tess and Kobe Haun!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas Eve

As is our tradition, we spent our Christmas Eve at Nanny's house with (most of) the Hauns. It was so wonderful that it snowed all day and just a little scary on the roads coming home! It was Jett's first stocking and first packages to unwrap. He loved it and so did we. Thanks to Nanny for making our memories so special.

Getting to hang out with Aunt Brenda and Uncle Steve was a treat! Look at that smile...

Betsy was digging her red tutu and her green chucks. What a doll face!!

Our snow-covered house with lights when we finally made it home :)

This is one of my all-time favorite videos ever!! He's probably going to hate this one later on, but it is so sweet, I just have to post it. Love you, Honey!

Rockettes-in-Training

Jett has a bunch of beautiful friends that are girls. We've been enjoying seeing some of them recently...

We got to have lunch with Kaylee and her pretty mama! It was so good to see them both and we had a yummy lunch and a great visit. We hope to get to see them again soon :)

Look at those beautiful eyes - WOW!! So precious.

Jett continues to enjoy his Christmas tree... Wonder what will keep him occupied in January!?

The Griffins came over for pancakes. Casey made yummy chocolate chip pancakes (which I'm now addicted to - thanks to the Zakaryans for making the suggestion). He finally got to hold sweet baby Tatum.

Adelaide got to see the Rockettes Christmas Show and she has been practicing her kicks ever since. She decided to teach Jett her new moves :) I wish I had gotten to see the Rockettes this year, but I'm glad I got to see the next best thing!

Look at the beautiful face. Such a sweet baby girl...

The next day, while Jett's cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and dad went to Holiday in the Park, Aunt Jen came over and watched "The Grinch" with Jett and me. He had some crazy hair for the occasion, which I had to document... Next year, maybe we'll brave the cold for a crazy, wild time at Six Flags.

Sweet little man:

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

We Hauns love Christmas! We really enjoy all things festive. It's been fun to do all our favorite pre-Christmas activities with Jett: going to my mom's house to help decorate her tree, singing Christmas songs (well, he hasn't let us do that in the car - strictly Weezer!), going to the mall with the largest indoor Christmas tree in the US... Ah, so fun.

Jett enjoys his Grammy's toys and her animals. Blue is a really good dog who isn't as pushy as ours and he doesn't have a tail to wag in Jett's face. They get along great. Blue doesn't even mind when Jett tries to steal his bones. Yummy!

He's a budding musician - it makes me so proud! He was really getting into his music. Then he decided he might need to taste the keys. Cutie.

When we turn on the faucet in the bath tub, Jett suddenly thinks he can fly. He loves baths so much, he attempts a flying leap into the tub completely clothed. His new favorite bathtime treat: sucking the water out of the faucet. Brrrrrrrr!!!

Casey is our neighborhood Pied Piper. He loves showing the neighborhood boys all his old bicycle tricks. He has even fixed his unicycle and has started riding it lately :) It's so cute how the boys play with Jett while they watch Casey do his tricks. I snuck a picture through the window. Notice Casey on one of their bikes.

Casey and I got to have a date while sweet Jen walked around the crazy mall with Jett. A good time was had by all!! Look at all those holiday shoppers in the background - whew!
Oh boy! Jesus' Birthday is so soon and we are really excited to celebrate.

First Snow... Kind of

We woke up to a text from Grammy that said "Happy Snow Day"! We didn't even know it :) Sadly, much of the snow had passed us by and had turned to wet, slushly snow by the time we got bundled up. But it still counts - it has to around here. Jett loved it, even though his bunting is so tight he can't straighten out. Don't worry: Grammy got him another bigger bunting that is unbelievable. He looks like the little brother on Christmas Story... pictures to follow with the next snow!

He never falls asleep like this. He woke up right after we took the pictures. So sweet!

Casey's had a cold and he's been blowing his nose constantly. This time he unknowingly got a little bit of stray Kleenex on his top lip. I couldn't resist.

Seven Months Young

Mr. Man is getting big! He got to hang with his friend Asher on his 7th month birthday. In all the fun, I forgot to take pictures on his big day... These are just few days later. He's so wiggly, it's hard to capture him :) He's so fun!
