Dinner with the Fam

We ended Jett's special day at Honey and Tatu's house for a family dinner. It was fun to be with lots of people who love him so much.

Beau put on a puppet show for the party... so cute!

365 Days with Jett

It was a beautiful day on Jett's first birthday and we had fun celebrating him together. He is such a little man and we're enjoying getting to watch his personality develop - he's quite a character :)

This one really cracks me up!

Jett Remington Haun - you are one of a kind and we LOOOOOOOOOVE you!

Landscaper in the making...

So, we got to help the Smiths with their front landscape and we had a blast. Jett was ready for some hard work...
He would like to live in their garage.
He and his cousin, Beau, are two peas in a pod.
There was a whole lot of camo going on! Brady even wore his camo underwear!
And Jett found the corvette that he and Betsy "share"... He was all about it.
Such a fun day and the end result was worth all the hard work. Sorry I didn't take an after shot of the front beds...

Hard Work Day

Honey wanted a work day for her birthday, but the weather did not cooperate. So, she got a tree planted and the rest of the day was a game day! And a good food eating day! Happy Birthday, Honey - you are very loved and celebrated. We love your tree, your singing, your cooking, your house, your prizes, your ideas, your dog and your birthday. Just to name a few :)

Laundry List

I have the cutest helper on laundry days. Which, consequently, come more frequently than they used to. :)

In other news, one of our cows (Ella Mae) had another calf - our first for this year. My mom thinks it looks like a boy. I think it's super cute!

Happy laundry day and springtime to you all.

Can you say "souffle"?

For Kaye's birthday, we got to lunch at Rise N. 1, which I've been dying to do for ages now. And it did not disappoint! It was like Anthropologie, only in restaurant form. Yum. It was so fun to celebrate Kaye with fun, food and friends. Here's my chocolate souffle:

Cute Morgan and Holly
Cindy and the birthday girl
What a treat to spend the afternoon (with no Jett) with these precious ladies! Love it...

Honey's Birthday Eve

Kaye Haun is the queen of birthdays and we've been having a great time celebrating her special day all week! Jett and I got to have lunch with the birthday girl on her birthday eve - what fun! Here was the girls' table.
And the kids' table (Betsy liked to sit at both). Jett did great!
After lunch, we got to play at Honey and Tatu's house. Aunt Mo took Jett up on Tatu's tractor and he LOVED every second. He was touching every lever he could reach and talking a lot.
Ricky took a break from his work and put on his party clothes to celebrate his bride.
Cindy brought Owen over and he and Betsy got some good rides behind the bicycle.
Honey bounced Jett to sleep and he took his afternoon (evening) nap in her arms. So sweet.
Beau is very shy and retiring around cameras.

Casey couldn't stay away, so he headed over after work and we partied some more. And, of course, we had to end the party in the hot tub.

Oh, can't wait for more celebrating!
