Happy One Week Birthday

Jett celebrated the successful completion of his first week by visiting the doctor. She said he looked great - of course. He did a great job on his first outing, but his parents were kind of green. We bumbled around without wipes and a blanket and went through three diapers in one 45-minute appointment :)
Later, Aunt Holly came to visit and we took some fun photos.

Nursery

Here are a few shots of Jett's room. It's a little more organized than it was a couple of weeks ago :) He hasn't complained too much...

Visitors

Honey and Aunt Mo came to visit, although Mo couldn't hold little guy the first time cause we were scared she had swine flu :) She and Barron came back with a swing, though, so we let her... Aunt Ronna held Jett and made friends with Jade!

Coming Home

Despite the disappointment of not being able to nurse Jett in the hospital, he latched on immediately when we got home. Thanks to Grammy for her Lactation Consultation :) I can't help but post this one... Priceless!

At the Hospital

We had a couple of nights adjusting to hearing newborn noises and getting to know Jett in the hospital. Then we got to go home...

Welcome, Jett Remington!

He arrived! Angie was scheduled for a c-section at noon and I took Jett's first picture at 12:54 PM.
He weighed 8 lbs 5.4 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Isn't he just perfect? There are no words to describe how excited, happy, blessed, and amazed we are by this little guy.

Whew!

Man, has it been a whirlwind of activity around the Haun house. Sorry for the gap in information and photos. We've been getting ready to have a tiny human come and live at our house! He's due to arrive one week from tomorrow, so we'll see how punctual he plans to be. Hopefully we will be reliable in posting LOTS of pictures of his birth day.
